The project Water Matters – “Increasing knowledge on the importance of Good status of Water Bodies”, returns to Kalymnos!
This awareness campaign funded by “Water Management” Program of the EEA Grants (European Economic Area of the Financial Mechanism 2014-2021) with the Ministry of Environment and Energy acting as Program Operator, will visit the island for second time from 27-30 November 2023.
During the visit, the project team will organise several hands-on activities with the students of Kalymnos and Pserimos, as well as interesting events for the public. Specifically, a workshop will be held in Cultural Centre (Culture, History and Art Hall) of Kalymnos Municipality on 30 November at 18:30, where the results of the project will be presented along with examples of good practices for sustainable water management that are traditionally supported on the island from the past until nowadays.
