- When washing your hands, turn off the tap while you scrub.
- In case of leakage, inform the maintenance technician or the relevant municipal service.
- Make sure the toilet tank is set to use as little water as possible. Consider the possibility of using water conservation devices (e.g. dual flush tank).
- Choose plants and flower with low water requirements for the garden or the office.
- Install rainwater collection tanks or maintain already existing ones, in order to address secondary uses such as garden watering or irrigation.
- Install a greywater recovery system and utilize the wastewater from the shower and sink to flush the toilet.
- If your business is a hotel or rooms for rent, inform your customers on the importance of reusing sheets, body and face towels. In this way, the volume of laundry and ultimately the uses of the washing machine are reduced.
