“Water Matters” returns to Leros island… to “Increase knowledge on the Importance of the Good Status of Water Bodies”
The second visit, as part of the awareness and information campaign financed by the “Water Management” Program of the EEA Grants (Financial Mechanism of the European Economic Area 2014-2021) with the Ministry of Environment and Energy as Program Manager, is a fact!
“Water Matters” project team will be visiting Leros island on October 18-22, to carry out a variety of experiential activities with the students of the island and exciting public events. On Friday, October 20 of 2023, the results of the project will be presented during a public meeting held at the Municipal Theater of Leros (18:30-20:00), while on Saturday, October 21 of 2023, in the hall of Leros Theater Workshop (7:30 p.m.), Mrs. Agni Stroumpouli and her partner Mr. Stavros Parginos will introduce us to the “Voices of many waters” through folktale stories.

The grants of the 3rd Donor Countries (Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway), through the 2014-2021 EEA MF, contribute to achieving of the general objectives for:
(a) Reducing economic and social inequalities in the European Economic Area and
(b) Strengthening bilateral relations between Iceland/Liechtenstein/Norway and the beneficiary countries.
